During his travels to the north (1927-1939 and 1950-1965) Gustav Hagemann met the nomadic Sami who were destined for it. His earliest photos from 1927 to 1929 are shown. More than a thousand negatives and photos can be found in the Museum of European Cultures in Berlin (see also smb.digital).
